Back when I was a little younger I used to dream of being a cartoonist. I wold spend hours a day writing countless comic strips. My comics were about a rag-tag group of birds and there various exploits. The main characters were Mike, a scarlet macaw, Tukey, a, well, tucan, Tim, a baltimore oriole, and for whatever reason, I guess to make things interesting, a Golden Retriever names Niles.
At some point I got tired of just doing single strips and decide I would attempt to write a full on graphic novel. I was quite ambitious with it in the beginning and intended to make a full series that would contain up to 6 books. Alas, for whatever reason, after finishing about half of the second book I gave up on the venture, perhaps because I realized nothing would ever become of it. Or maybe it was the indifference of everyone I showed it to, I don't really know why.
Anyhow, it occured to me the other day that since I haven't been drawing much as of late, I would start posting the first ( and as of now the only one completed) novel. Hopefully some of you will find it interesting if not enjoyable, just don't take it to seriously...
